His son Jason Lett continues the family tradition.David Lett and Eyrie pioneered Pinot Gris in New World wine countries, and today fruit from the oldest Pinot Gris vines in Willamette Valley contribute to this wine. Bright fruit, long-term aging on natural yeast lees and full malo contribute textural suppleness to complement the crunchy acidity.Pinot Noir 77%, Pinot Meunier 8%, Trousseau 15%. A light-bodied juicy wine with great acidity. Very aromatic nose with red fruit carrying into the palate. Crunchy tannins give structure to the playful fruit notes. After undergoing malolactic fermentation and aging in neutral oak with 8% new for 15 months, it was blended, racked without filtration and bottled. Graceful and elegantly multilayered, with delicate cherry and cranberry flavours laced with green tea and dusky spices, with refined tannins on the finish. The Eyrie’s Jason Lett and crew planted the Willamette Valley’s first Trousseau Noir in 2012. Vividly red, aromas of dark berries, loam, and baking spices. Acidity and smoothness are perfectly balanced on the palate, with evolving flavours of herbs and fruits such as blackberry, pomegranate, and rhubarb.Made from a selection of the best barrels each vintage from the oldest Chardonnay vines in Willamette Valley. Old vines give the vines a distinct direct connection to the mineral underlaying the soil. Firm acidity complements a richly textured mid-palate spiked with notes of flowers and sea grass.[92pts Wine Enthusiast]Made from fruit from the original planting of Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley, it is one of five cuvees produced identically, with the same fermentation regime of wild yeast and small fermentations, followed by aging in blends of cooperage with 12% new oak in each.[97pts Wine Enthusiast]Named for the three Pinot sister varieties on the site, Gris, Blanc and Noir. The four acres of Pinot planted in 1987 to Pommard and Wadenswil clones, often carry a flowery scent on top of earth and fruit. Aged for 14 months in oak before bottling.Located over 1600 meters above sea level in Argentina's Northern Calchaqui Valley, intense sun in the day and cool nights help create wines with concentrated fruit balanced with fine acidity.Brilliant ruby with violet edges. Aromas of strawberries, raspberries and ripe fruit with touches of pepper and spice, and elegant floral notes. In the mouth, flavours of red fruit, spice and hints of vanilla from aging in French oak. A nice freshness, round, soft tannins lead to a delicate, lingering finish.[91pts Tim Atkin]-57-1289512399125421289212894125491192512893128291283012840Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyChardonnay Alc.12.7% Valle Calchaqui, SaltaTorrontes85%/Riesling15% Alc.12.5% Valle Calchaqui, SaltaMalbec95%/Torrontes5% Alc.13.5% The Eyrie VineyardsAmalayaEstate Pinot Gris ‘22Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyPinot Gris Alc.13.3% Estate Chardonnay ‘21Estate Trifolium ‘20Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyPinot Noir77%/Trousseau15%/Meunier8% Alc.13.6% Estate Pinot Noir ‘21Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyPinot Noir Alc.13.0% Trousseau ‘21Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyTrousseau Alc.11.5% The Eyrie Chardonnay ‘19Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyChardonnay Alc.12.7% The Eyrie Pinot Noir ‘18Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyPinot Noir Alc.14.7% Sisters Pinot Noir ‘21Dundee Hills, Willamette ValleyPinot Noir Alc.13.5% White S’23Rose S’23Malbec ‘23Valle Calchaqui, SaltaMalbec85%/Tannat10%/Petit Verdot5% Alc.14.2% Argentina
