A limited, exclusive release at Village Cellars.The 2018 vintage saw near-ideal conditions for fruit to accumulate flavour complexity with gradual increases in sugar levels. Ripe berry aromas of blueberry, blackberry, cranberry, pomegranate, and an undercurrent of damp earth, the firm tannins are balanced by pleasant acidity and a lingering finish.Aromas of violets, juicy dark fruit including plum and blackberry, with undercurrents of black pepper, and damp earth. Medium-full bodied with firm, yet polished, tannins and bright acidity, making it very versatile for food pairings or to enjoy on its own.
