History

1987年 8月 氷見市新保の「片折ひで」の酒販免許にて酒類の輸入許可を取得し、片折酒販ウエアテック・ブティック・ワインを設立。
1992年 7月 ヴィレッジ・セラーズ株式会社(資本金3,000万円)を設立。
1993年 6月 「ヴィレッジ・セラーズ株式会社」が酒類販売業免許を取得。
1998年 9月 営業担当者を東京に配置。資本金を6,750万円に増資。
12月 倉庫業営業許可を取得。氷見市より上田工業団地内に土地取得。
1999年 3月 新社屋・倉庫建設着工。
7月 本店を氷見市新保より上田上野に移転。
8月 酒類販売場を氷見市新保より上田上野に移転。
12月 株式会社ワインバズ(資本金1,000万円)を設立。
2000年 2月 株式会社ワインバズの通信販売免許取得にともない、小売部門を(株)ワインバズに移行、ヴィレッジ・セラーズ(株)は卸売業務に専門特化。
(株)ワインバズは、フォスターズ・グループ(本社オーストラリア)のビール・ワイン部門であるセラーマスター・ワインズ・グループとの50%づつの合弁事業となる。
2001年 6月 決算月を6月に変更。
2003年 8月 北米ワインの輸入を開始。
2008年 8月 アルゼンチン・ワインの輸入を開始。
2009年 7月 フランスワイン直輸入グループの輸入代行を終了。
2011年 2月 プラスチック容器ワイン、コピト・ニュージーランドの取扱開始。
2011年 4月 シャンパーニュ、デュヴァル=ルロワの取扱開始。
2012年 7月 チリ・ワインの輸入を開始。
August 1987: Obtained an import licence under the name of Hide Kataori. Established and commenced trading in wine under the name Kataori Shuhan, Weartech Boutique Wine.
July 1992: Incorporated Village Cellars Ltd. with a paid up capital of JPY 30,000,000.
June 1993: Obtained a liquor licence under the name Village Cellars Ltd. and commenced trading under this name.
July 1998: Posted salesperson to Tokyo.
Increased the capital of Village Cellars Ltd. to JPY67,500,000.
March 1999: Commenced construction of new head office and air conditioned warehouse.
July 1999: Moved Head Office from Shinbo, Himi to Uwada, Himi.
August 1999: Moved Liquor Licence from Shinbo, Himi to Uwada, Himi.
December 1999: Established Subsidiary K.K. Wine Buzz with paid up capital of JPY1,000,000.
February 2000: K.K. Wine Buzz changed to joint venture with Cellarmaster Wines, a division of the beer and wine company, Fosters Group Ltd, Australia.
K.K. Wine Buzz obtained a Direct Mail Liquor Licence and took over ownership and management of the retail section of Village Cellars.
Village Cellars became a dedicated wholesale business.
June 2001: Village Cellars financial year end changed from 31st August to 30th June.
August 2003: Commence importing North American Wines.
August 2008: Commence importing Argentinian Wines.
July 2009: Terminated the importing agent role for a French wine direct import group.
February 2011: Commenced trading Copito New Zealand, ready-to-drink wine in a single serve plastic containers.
April 2011: Commenced trading Champagne, Duval-Leroy.
July 2012: Commenced importing Chilean wines.
